You may not think to combine the concepts of wine storage and community, but at The Drayman House, we’ve done just that. When we set out to create a unique space in Walla Walla for wine enthusiasts, we were thinking outside the box and looking for ways to become a part of the vibrant local community in a tangible way. From a vision of a bustling hub for wine collectors and their friends, families, and colleagues, came the structure of our members-only venue in our thoughtfully restored historic building.
This vision has come to life today: The Drayman House is not just a space to store and protect your wine; it is also a place to gather, share, taste and learn with friends, guests, and a community who appreciates wine like you do. Event Venues and Member Spaces at The Drayman House
Reception Area & Members’ Lounge: Walla Walla Coworking and Gathering Space
With a high-end wine bar feel, our Reception Lounge + Members’ Lounge provides a great atmosphere for you to invite friends over to open one of your favorite bottles, meet up with a colleague for lunch, or host your book club over charcuterie and wine. With a quiet and elevated vibe, the lounge is a great spot to bring your laptop when it’s time to get away from the office and do some focused remote working, as well. Our Reception area is also where members’ wine shipments are received by our expert team and delivered right to your personal locker.
To further your experience, we also offer secure WiFi, a Sonos music system, and a flat screen television. The lounge is stocked with a selection of stemware and decanters for maximizing your wine drinking experience, and the space is stunningly designed by Betsy Kornelis at Paisley & Pine.
Great for: Remote work, coworking, small group socializing and networking, one-on-one socializing and meetings

- Hours: 7 days a week, 8AM - 12AM, no reservation needed
- Capacity: Each member can bring up to 5 guests

Sensory Room
The Sensory Room is ideal for intensive wine sensory study, tasting or blending sessions. The room is finished with white walls, neutral light, white tables and countertops: the perfect neutral and unstimulating background to truly experience every sensory input from a tasting, study, or blending session. Our team has thoughtfully designed this room for its sensory purposes in partnership with Betsy Kornelis at Paisley & Pine.
The Sensory Room is equipped with stemware, spittoons and blending supplies such as pipettes, graduated cylinders and blending flasks.

Conference Room
Looking for a place to host that executive team offsite, present the quarterly update, or entertain a small group? The conference room is a private room equipped with a conference room table that holds 10 people comfortably and is ready for your corporate or personal event. On the wall you will find a large flat screen television to display your presentation or other A/V content from your laptop computer.
The conference room can also be booked to entertain a small group privately such as a group wine tasting, book club, or viewing party. Host your fantasy football draft, watch your book club’s latest book-to-film adaptation together, or compare and contrast favorite bottles of vino together in a beautiful atmosphere with elevated interior design by Betsy Kornelis at Paisley & Pine.

The Drayman Room
For larger events such as annual meetings, board meetings, weddings, and dinners, The Drayman House has members covered. The beautiful 1,300 square foot Drayman Room boasts tall ceilings, rustic fir floors and is a blank slate for both seated or walk-around style events. Flooded with natural light and lit with a chandelier, the Drayman Room is an elevated event space for our members.
Great for: Medium-sized corporate events, board meetings, weddings, formal dinners, dances, live auction, fundraisers
